Product film for a brand new Glenlivet 12 Year Old is a limited edition bottling exclusively released for the Taiwanese market. Presenting a modern twist on a heritage brand, this film was conceived to be a dynamic sensorial expression of the flavour notes of each individual whisky.
Inspired by tradition-infused scotch in modern society, the music track explores traditional Scottish instrumentation and combines it with modern production techniques to reflect the historical richness and relevance of the product. Sound design enhances the sensorial aspect of the film by employing granular processing, premium whiskey liquid movements and ASMR sounds of wood creaking, ice tinkling and the mixing of ingredients. Consideration was given to each scene to accurately represent the acoustic space and grandeur of the setting.
