25 years after the debut of The Settlers, the legendary build-up strategy series returns to Windows PC, under the leadership of Volker Wertich, the inventor of the series. Ubisoft unveil the latest in the franchise at Gamescom 2018 with this gameplay trailer.
Solution
The bulk of the sequence is led by a climactic orchestral score. We looked to musically narrate the journey of your civilisation from small beginnings to a flourishing community to all out warfare. Sound design is light and pinpoints small details of industry where necessary, adding nuance to the story.
